به گزارش روز سه شنبه ایرنا از پایگاه خبری وزارت نیرو، 'هدایت فهمی' حجم آب تجدید شونده كشور را حدود 130 میلیارد مترمكعب اعلام كرد و گفت: اگر از این میزان 20 میلیارد مترمكعب نیز برای محیط زیست باشد، حدود 110 میلیارد مترمكعب باقی می ماند كه بر این اساس كشور در حال نزدیك شدن به سقف قابل استحصال آب تجدید شونده است كه این امر برای كشور بسیار خطرناك است.

وی افزود: كشورهایی كه افزون بر 60 درصد از منابع تجدید شونده را مصرف می كنند، وارد مرحله تنش آبی می شوند و در ردیف كشورهایی كه وضعیت خوبی در منابع آب ندارند، قرار می گیرند.

به گفته فهمی، در زمان كنونی در ایران نزدیك به 74 درصد منابع تجدید شونده مصرف می شود و بنابراین با وجود اقلیم خشك و نیمه خشك كشور، شرایط كنونی اصلا برای وضعیت آبی كشور مناسب نیست.
